高原宁，男，1963年4月出生于辽宁省大连市，籍贯黑龙江省齐齐哈尔市。1983年和1989年分别获得北京大学学士学位和博士学位。2019年当选中国科学院院士。现任北京大学物理学院院长，核物理与核技术国家重点实验室主任。
