Profile

Zhang Xibo was born in Weihui, Henan Province in 1984.

In July 2005, he received his bachelor's degree from the Department of physics, Peking University, under the guidance of Professor Liu Chuan;

In March 2012, he received his Ph.D. from the Department of physics, University of Chicago, with the tutor of Professor Cheng chin;

From July 2012 to December 2015, he was engaged in postdoctoral research at the Joint Institute of Experimental Astrophysics (Jila) at the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA, under the guidance of Professor Jun ye;

In December 2015, he joined the quantum material science center of Peking University and was employed as a researcher and doctoral supervisor.
