我们着重于研究低维材料和结构的新颖光学,光电子学以及自旋电子学等相关性质。通过综合运用多种时间、空间、动量和能量分辨探测技术,以及通过控制外加电场,磁场,以及环境温度等等,我们研究在多种变量维度中的光子与电子动力学过程,以及它们之间的相互作用。
目前我们关注的低维材料体系包括胶体半导体纳米晶体,二维材料(包括石墨烯,过渡金属硫化物,氮化硼等),光子晶体微腔和光波导,以及它们之间的相互耦合材料与结构器件。综合各种材料体系的特点,采各家所长,以我们的想象力和创造力构建和发展新的人工微纳材料和器件。
