My research is focused on quantum simulation, computing and metrology using ultracold atoms, with particular interest in understanding the nature and properties of topological matter and strongly correlated materials. My past researches include: symmetry-protected topological phases and 3D nodal-line semimetals using optical Raman lattices, bosonization of SU(N) symmetric interacting fermions, the first-order Mott transition in a shaken lattice system, and localization of interacting bosons in an optical quasicrystal.
