Curriculum Vitae

Welcome to Jianming Lu's personal website!    

Since Oct. 2017 I have been a tenure-track assistant professor in the physics school of  Peking University. Before joining Peking University I was a postdoctoral fellow at the High Magnetic Field Laboratory (Nijmegen, the Netherlands working with Prof. N. Hussey), Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials (University of Groningen, The Netherlands, working with Prof. Justin Jianting Ye) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (working with Prof. Ping Sheng ). Prior to that, I did my PhD with Prof. Zikang Tang and Ping Sheng at the Department of Physics, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. My research mainly includes van der Waals materials (graphene, transition metal dichalcogenides, etc.) and their heterostructures, focusing on experimental transport characterization of physical properties such as ferroelectricity, superconductivity and topological states.
